Topic: Ancient Egyptian Makeup - Detailed Drawing
Instructions:
Step 1: Research ancient Egyptian makeup styles and techniques.
Step 2: Take notes about different makeup elements used by Egyptians.
Step 3: Create a detailed drawing of an Egyptian face showing traditional makeup.
Step 4: Label each makeup element with arrows and write key information about it.

Research each type of makeup the ancient Egyptians used. Take notes on what it was, how it was made, and what it looked like:

Drawing Instructions:
You will draw an Egyptian face on paper (A4 or larger recommended).
Your drawing must include:
- A face (front view) showing ancient Egyptian makeup style
- The distinctive Egyptian eye makeup with extended lines
- All the makeup elements you researched (eyes, eyebrows, lips, cheeks, etc.)
- Arrows pointing to EACH makeup element (at least 8 items)
- Labels for each arrow naming the makeup
- Brief notes next to each label about ingredients and purpose
- Color! Use appropriate colors for authentic Egyptian makeup
Drawing Tips:
- Start with a light pencil outline of the face shape
- Focus on getting the eye makeup right - it's the most distinctive feature!
- Use reference images of Egyptian art and makeup
- The eyes should have the characteristic extended lines past the corners
- Draw arrows pointing outward to leave room for labels
- Make it colorful and historically accurate!
- You could draw the face with an Egyptian hairstyle or headdress too
